         <description><![CDATA[<div>British blockades prevented German ships from reaching American ports. There is where my great grandpa came in. He used help from the Masonic order to come to America and in return became a part of the order. <br><a href="http://www.msana.com/historyfm.asp">(During the 1800s and early 1900s, Freemasonry grew dramatically. At that time, the government had provided no social "safety net".
