I; impulsive, arrogant, proud and selfish boy. I never liked to work together with others and always undermine/look down at other people. I always thought that no one was better than me and I was the best. However, one day, during project work, I had to work (reluctantly) with a team to complete a project. As usual, I thought I had to do it all by myself. I thought, "I'm the best! If anyone interferes, this project will be ruined! My image will be tarnished!" At that juncture, my friend told me that teamwork an important value that we needed and if we do not work together, we would not succeed. After hearing my friend's words, I realized what I used to be and felt engulfed in shame about my earlier arrogance. Shame and guilt flowed through my veins like broken glass, prickling me with all my selfish, impulsive things that I had done in the past. I fervently wished I could turn back the hands of the clock and change my ways. However, I knew that was impossible. I used to be very hardworking and planned my time properly for the races in school, won almost every race. 
This year, I was going to train for upcoming school 800 meter race.
You are joining but you are very lazy, arrogant and did the training in the last minute, thinking you would definitely win for sure as you are the best runner in class.
Everyone in class was busy with the training but I went around boasting and everyone was annoyed.
As the days inched nearer, I started to train, realize that I was slower than anyone. Every time, I ran in a mini race in the physical educations I would now and then be the last.
Regret that I did not plan my time for the training, decides to make a change and plan my time for a better future.
I made a change for the following years and decided not to do last minute work and keep being a humble boy he used to be. At last, everyone in my class welcomed me and we worked together to make the best out of the race and won the race. The main character is a person who does not manage his time properly. He also does not keep track of the time and keeps playing or gaming, even when exams draw near. He does not know how to manage things properly and there were many times when he did not finish his work and would usually finish his homework at midnight. 
It was the end-of-year paper. John(mc) did not remember about the exam and thinking that it was already a holiday, he gamed all night and woke up late for school. Once he got to school, everyone was already and revising their work and once he saw them, he suddenly realised that he had completely forgotten about the exam and rushed to revise and in the end, the paper was very hard and he failed very badly. He made his teacher and parents very worried as his papers were not as bad as that end-of-year paper as his parents usually coached him frequently but his parents thought that he would be independent enough and so they did not coach him and let him be independent. They decided to give him some more tuition and tried to coach him as much as possible so that they hope that he can learn his lesson.
