The book my group was reading is called ''I Want To Go Home'' 
The main characters from the book are Chip, Rudy Miller and Mike Webster.

In the book there is this boy named Rudy Miller and his parents sent him to camp Algonquin island. Rudy didn't want to go to the camp but he had to, when he arrived at the camp he met his counselor named Chip. Chip was a very happy person and he told Rudy to go put his bag into there cabin, Cabin 13 so Rudy did and right when he went in he looked disgusted. Rudy met this one boy named Mike Webster and Mike also hated camp and they both wanted to leave. They made a plan to escape and get to main land so the one morning they woke up really early when it was still dark, they took out a boat and left but then they fell asleep and the wind ended up turning them around so when they woke up they where back at camp Algonquin island. They tried it again a couple days later and it didn't work again. The one counselor Frank made Rudy and Mike do the actives today because they never did them so when they went to the activities Rudy played and it was like a one man team because Rudy did all the work, turns out he is really good at every sport and they won everything. In the ending of the book Rudy was about to leave and said bye Chip see you next year.
