         <description><![CDATA[<div>This performance task comes after two big units on algebra (solving equations) and geometry (angles). The students apply what they learned in both units to create their own city. In order for the teacher to evaluate their learning, the students must meet certain guidelines. For example, they must place the bank and school at vertical angles. This performance task also includes Kagan’s cooperative learning strategies and gives the students the opportunity to create a tangible product out of their knowledge of parallel lines, transversals and angles. </div>]]></description>
