My engagement drastically dropped during early morning classes when I was sleep-deprived. Despite interesting content, I struggled to focus when classes were scheduled before 9 AM, affecting my ability to participate and retain information.

Alison Daly, HFM BOCES Life skills class students ages 14 to 21. As a student the things that kept me engaged were hands on projects or activities. I enjoyed classes where we had fun and enjoyed what we were being taught!
