Normally on Christmas eve we go to one of our family members houses and eat dinner and once we get home we put our pajamas on and then we open up one present before we got to bed. Then when we wake up (which is normally really early like 4, 5, or 6 in the morning because  we are highly excited) we open all of our presents and we look in our stockings for for our smaller things. We also normally eat cinnamon rolls and while we are eating we look at our presents some more and play with them. After that we take showers and get ready to go to another family member's house to eat Christmas "dinner". We open the presents from family, and maybe climb trees, and when we are done we drive home and put all of our presents from the living room into our rooms. We might have a bonfire to get rid of all of the wrapping paper and boxes. Then we go to sleep.

My friend celebrates a  special  family tradition. In Alaska ALL of my family gets together at my big grandmas house and everybody under 18 gets a present and we stay there all day. In Hawaii we stayed with our dad because he was visiting us in the rainbow state. After that we just stayed home for the other Christmas's. Days before Christmas, my older sister would come from Texas to stay until New Years. We decorate the inside of the house with lights and that weird green christmas stuff. About a week before we get a tree. This year we got a small fat one...usually we would get a giant tall one. Christmas Eve we would just be lazy all day and do absolutely nothing. The grand day, Christmas comes along.
