         <description><![CDATA[<div>I feel AR is huge in seeing progress in students and holding them accountable.  How can we give goals and know if they actually read it if we don't have a program such as this? If have students that have not taken a test in a week, I can conference with them and see what is going on.  Without a program like this, I have no way of knowing if they are reading or if they are understanding what they are reading.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I used Learning A to Z last year during online learning. I was able to teach students how to record their reading of stories at their lexile ability levels. I could then listen after class and compare to their quiz results on whether to raise or lower difficulty/challenge levels. This was in lieu of AR which wasn't endorsed at the site I moved to. (For the record, I enjoy working with AR just as much.)</div>]]></description>

         <title>I have used one similar to this before and found it extremely helpful. It is a great way to see all of the information on one document, especially for guiding instruction and grading. It was also neat to see the growth of each student throughout the year.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My previous experience with Reading A to Z is that it was beneficial for small group instruction/guided reading, however I am not sure how this will be an adequate replacement for Renaissance Place/AR. Although many many not be in favor of AR, it does help me determine which students are reading, their degree of comprehension, and progress/lack thereof.</div>]]></description>
