I want to improve techniques and learn to throw larger vessels, like Tortus, and find a way to link this to my FMP. 

Throwing techniques I am interested in developing are learning how to differently texture my pieces during the throwing process, and learning how to throw perfect circles, which I can then adapt into sculptures.

A potential idea is a sculpture that creates its own sound using marbles and collisions with pots, rather than making an immersive and interactive installation type experience.

I could create a more organic, random layout for the pots. This could involve arranging the pots on a table or platform in a seemingly random manner, or hanging them from the ceiling in a way that creates a sense of movement and flow. This approach would create a more dynamic and interactive layout that invites viewers to explore the pots in a more free-form way.

He created is "Rainforest III", which was first performed in 1968, in this piece, Tudor used ceramic bowls, plates, and other objects to create a complex, layered soundscape. The sound of the ceramic bowls and plates was amplified and processed through electronic equipment, which Tudor manipulated in real-time to create a unique and immersive sound experience.


David Tudor also created other pieces that incorporated ceramic bowls and plates as sound-making instruments, such as "Rainforest II" (1968), "Rainforest V" (1973), and "Rainforest VI" (1973).
