Today's weather is mostly sunny. The temperature is 21C/69F. There are a few cumulus clouds in the sky.
Wearing short sleeves would be ok, but most of us are wearing long sleeves and pants.

The average low and high temperatures are 18 °C and 21 °C, pretty similar to Taipei.  Even though January is considered as the coldest month in Hong Kong, some people are still wearing short sleeves! 
Unlike the hot and humid summer, winter in Hong Kong is dry and mild with no threat of typhoons. It gets cloudy and rain sometimes but the weather is mostly quite pleasant — sunny with moderate wind. It's one of the best seasons to visit!

It is colder here than at the artic circle or in Siberia. All of the schools are closed for the next two days, so we will be inside drinking hot chocolate, reading library books, and doing art projects.
