·       Please do not interfere with the work of others in their computers

·       Please respect other people’s privacy; do not look at other people’s files without their permission

·       Please do not use a computer to steal

·       Please do not use a computer to lie to others

·       Please do not use or get a software that you did not pay for

·       Please do not use other people’s computer resources without being permitted to

·       Please do not use/steal other people’s ideas

·       Please consider the possible consequences you and other people may face of the program you are making

·       Please be considerate and respect other people when using a computer

=> Despite these rules students still violate them, especially, I think, the eighth rule, which is that where people are told not to steal other people's ideas which they do by plagiarizing. This I say because despite the many penalties for this action, students tend to continue to plagiarize other works, may it be the work of their classmates, or works of professionals that are seen from the internet, to construct their own assignments, particularly their papers, which is a violation to this rule.
I think that such violations occur not because of the lack of penalties in schools, but because of lack of will for a student to engage in a topic that is being discussed in class which their assignment is related to, or lack of time management.
For me, I think that one of the many ways this behavior can be stopped is by having the teachers teach their class material in such a way that students can be more engaged to the class material or by having the students work on their papers/assignments during class time, days before the assignment is due.
