Once the war ended, business was still riding on a wave of credit.
- Due to the business boom, consumers were more likely to spend money.
- Credit was how most people bought things. So they were basically buying things with money that they didn't actually have.
- Liberty Bonds were 1st introduced to raise funds for the troops in the war.

- Veterans had sevre PTSD compared to any other war due to the new weapons, the sheer number of people who died, and it being the first major world wide conflict.
- Women were starting to have more rights ( such as the right to vote in 1920 ). They were also gaining a little more respect in the workplace due to taking over the males spot in the household while they were fighting.
- African - Americans fought in segregated divisions in the war. Despite their scarf ices for the country racism gained lots of momentum after the war with the emergence of the Ku Klux Klan.
