In this chapter, Teagan wakes up 100 years later and as she did she heard the voices of doctors more and more and then she was able to blink and move her eyes around with blurry vision though. She struggled to breathe as she sat up until she heard a soothing women’s voice, Dr Carmen. Teagan asked questions about Dalmar and Alex but was completely shut down every time by the doctor. The doctors broke the bad news to her. A sniper was aiming at the prime Minister and the sniper hit you. It tore through your heart, left lung and right kidney and since your signed your body over to science. You were the perfect candidate for the Cryonic Treatment. Teagan was shocked and began running to the exit once the doctor left, she ran into a room where people were amazed to see her and called her the living dead girl. Everyone was evacuated the room and Teagan was left there to fix up all your injuries from the run.

Teagan didn’t feel a thing as the twenty-second century painkillers had gotten better. As she was getting fixed up Marie (Dr Carmen) was explaining how she was a part of ‘Operation New Beginning’ and how she was the first successful human revival. Operation New Beginning wanted to bring soldiers who had passed away back to life and Teagan liked the idea of this as her father died and he was a solider, however Alex and Dalmar wouldn’t have been fans of this. Teagan was afraid of everything and didn’t want to speak to anyone however being the first successful human revival, she was going to be forced to as she signed her body over to science. The doctors tried to make Teagan feel at home by giving her books and clothes to wear and all her hair that was gone, was slowly starting to come back. Tegan was proud to be a part of the operation however when she found out she would stay in the laboratory/hospital for a couple more years she was not happy and was complaining about how she signed over her dead body and not her life to science. Teagan declared she was going on a hunger and talking strike. This wen t for six days, but then she passed out and ended up in bed where she demanded to go to school and live outside the compound. They simple did not agree so she went back on her hunger/talking strike and then they agreed that she must cooperate and they select which school she will attend and she will live with Dr Carmen. Teagan went to her home and leaned a bit about the current century such as the showers, toilets and computers. She then went to a supermarket and was seen my people and asked thousands of questions and the she was escorted to the car.

Tegan goes into an interview with a report and starts off really well but later blows it all down the drain because she gets frustrated and annoyed and starts yelling and swearing. Dawson the head of the operation points a gun at Tegan. She then knocks him out and ties him up and runs away with Marie when they later split up and go by themselves.

Tegan, Abdi and Joph go into the warehouse and discover a secret tunnel which leads to a massive warehouse where there are hundreds of thousands of dead bodies of small kids and adults that have been stored or killed and waiting for a cure for a disease that there is no cure for. Tegan and her friends kill a couple of guards and manage to escape with the footage of what they have seen inside of the massive warehouse. Tegan and Abdi run away down dark streets when Abdi gets caught by Zanisha one of Tegan’s former body guards, but Tegan manages to get rid of Zanisha and is just about to upload the footage when she is shot.

Tegan and Abdi wake up on a boat in the middle of the ocean. Abdi tells Tegan that she has been unconscious for several hours and that they were just tranquiliser darts that they got shot with and that the drug Joph had given them was having effect on their bodies. Once they make land fall Tegan sees cows and people on the island which she believes is Tasmania. They walk into a giant cafeteria where there are lots of people staring at them. 

Abdi and Tegan wake up in an underground bunker and are escorted to the toilet where Tegan is taken to the father. Father tells Tegan about the ark project and what it is about and tries to convince Tegan that she should basically kill herself because god believes in one body. Father is going to put them all in underground bunkers until Tegan says she will kill herself. Tegan and Abdi threaten Father and make him disable the alarm for the boat where they sail off.

Tegan and Abdi steal a boat and get away on it. They set a course to a town on the main land of Australia. Tegan and Abdi must swim a fair way because their boat can only go so far. Tegan and Abdi hijack a van and bring the owner along to. They get to hurfets house where they discus what they are going to do. They upload the footage and they know the army will track them, so they flee to another town where they break into an abandoned house where Tegan can here people yelling for her to give herself up and they have Marie, so they know they will make Tegan give herself up. In the end Tegan does give herself up and says “Goodbye” and “Good Luck”.

Tegan and Abdi start work today at there new home/work. Tegan and the girls are in the kitchen and the boys are in the milking sheds. Tegan has a good night’s sleep but is made to get out of bed by having water poured on her. She must go and work in the kitchen and starts stealing food for there escape at night. They manage to get the first part of there plan of without a hitch but opening the boat is another story having the boat alarm going of and getting hauled back to camp and put in a storm bunker.

in chapter 6 media is at all doors at school and she can’t talk to them and she must try and get away before they could get a word out. they then talk about how Joph was Bethari’s girlfriend and like to make drugs and take them, and says that she is smart. Then they go to a church and she prays and then they get up to leave but an inheritor comes along and tries to talk to Tegan but then gets shot and dies, but before he was shot he says ‘asks them about the ark pro’ and then dies. Then she starts to yell at them and thinks about what her body looked like when she was shot. 

 in chapter ten it starts out with them in a room talking about some stuff. Then it goes to them practising for the interview and what to say and about what. Tegan got asked to a house party, then Tegan asks her friends and they don’t want to go to the house party. Abdi tries to punch Soren but Zaniesha deflects his ouch and tells him to go for a walk.
