2. Corporate  Social Responsibility  is a big deal in today's corporate environment which includes many different facets such as environmental concerns (green business), poverty, human rights, and animal rights. I find it interesting that businesses are realizing the importance of CSR in attracting and maintaining employees and customers and that stakeholders are demanding that businesses give back to the larger community in which they operate. Micheal Porter's video sums it up. I included Wells Fargo Code of Conduct as an example of responsible company values. After all, you would want a company in charge of your money to have ethical practices.

3. There are only a few countries in the world that don’t have McDonald's restaurants so I couldn't help but add them to my wall when discussing management within a global organization. I love McDonald's (or use to) so I find it interesting that their menu changes based on the part of the country you are in and that there are many different parts i.e. communication, technology, network, etc. that are  important when managing a global company.

4. Planning and decision-making are the most important managerial functions, and there are many relations between them. I find it important because every decision-making process produces a final choice that may or may not prompt action. Decision-making is a part of planning. Planning is the process of selecting a future course of action

5. I added this because an organizations structure defines how activities such as task allocation, coordination and supervision are directed toward the achievement of organizational aims. It's important because it can also be considered as the viewing glass or perspective through which individuals see their organization and its environment.

6. I added this because it depicts a good HR structure. Human resource is for any organization the most important resource. It's important because it’s role is to contribute to professional development and to lead to organizational goals in a motivating environment for both the group and for each individual parties.

7. This post was added because motivation is important simply because it allows a leader to meet and even exceed their own organizational goals. After all, that's the whole point of leading. It's important because without a motivated workforce, your organization will be in a very precarious position.

8. I added these post because they illustrate how control can effect performance. Controlling is an important function of management. Its importance becomes apparent when we find that it is needed in all the functions of management. Controlling checks mistakes and tells us how new challenges can be met or faced. The success of the organization thus hinges on effective controlling.
