Evidence 2-I started collage two weeks ago and I did not know a lot of people, because of this I had to communicate with other students to make friends to create a more comfortable environment. This developed my communication skills because it made me be more confident in my surroundings when I’m around people that I have spoken to previously. I did well with this as I made many friends in my first two weeks which shows me my communication skills improved. I could have improved by doing this sooner, I waited a couple days to use this communication as it was an intimidating situation at first.

Evidence 3-Last year I got a job working in an equine shop. This entailed: answering the phone, working the till and helping people find what they are looking for by guiding them to the correct product or helping them try on multiple riding clothes until they found exactly what they want. This massively developed my communication skills as I had to spend hours talking to and helping customers. I know I did very well in this as I received many praises for my customer service skills. 

I have used teamwork in the first two weeks of college when we was doing the team building exercises. at this time, we had to meet new people and complete tasks with them and work as a group. This made me more confident in my teamwork because I was with complete strangers, but it easily made us friends.

Evidence 2-

For the cabin crew assessment, we all had to work together to make a script that we all was happy with and then had to act it out. This was an example of great teamwork because it was successfully done and we all worked together for it.

Evidence 3-

Another example, where I have used teamwork is when I take my horse to a competition, this is because me and my mum have to work together to have everything prepared for the competition. This is always successfully done, but we have to work together to coordinate with things and make sure everything is done properly, I would not be able to do it by myself.

I have been motivated when I have to make my self go to work after college. To do this I need to be motivated and determined to be working all day. This happens every Tuesday and Friday because they are the days I have both.

Evidence 2- Another example, is that I have been motivated when I go to the horse three times a day everyday no matter what, whether I am ill or tired and no matter what the weather is. This is a difficult thing to do some days so I have to be motivated.

Evidence 3- Lastly, I have to be motivated to go to college and do all of my college work, this is hard sometimes because there is a lot of work to do and it can get on top of you and become very stressful. Although, you have to stay motivated to keep going and get it done.

Evidence 2- Another example of me being reliable is me going to work for every single shift, even if I am not wanting to. My boss knows she can message me any day anytime to ask me to work and I will do it.

Evidence 3- I am reliable when it comes to my college work and handing my assignments in on time. This is important as after college i want to work in the travel industry after college. I will need a good reference from my teachers and i will get this by being a good student and handing in my work.

Evidence 2 - Another time I have been supportive is when my friends are going through a hard time. My best friend had a really bad break up and I had to be there for her because she was very upset.

Evidence 3 - I have had to be a mentor to my niece as she is starting school and is really nervous about it so I have shown her that she is going to be okay and that there is nothing to worry about. She knows I am here to support her no matter what.

Evidence 2 - 2 years ago I did a run for a charity for cancer research. I was inspired to do this as my great grandad and my grandad both suffered with cancer, thankfully my grandad is okay but my great grandad sadly died from it, I wanted to help others.

Evidence 3 - I was coming out of Meadowhall the other day and a homeless man with his dog was sat outside so I asked him if he needed anything. I went and got him a coffee, a scone and some dog treats. He was so grateful and I was so happy I could help him.

Evidence 2 - Last year I worked for this guy who had two horses, I rode them, cleaned their stables, filled their water and hay and poo picked the fields. I loved this job but I left as I needed to concentrate on my GCSE's.

Evidence 3 - I currently work in a pub as a barmaid, I love this job as I really enjoy being social and as a barmaid I get to talk to lots of different people daily. This job consists of serving customers drinks, cleaning everything behind the bar and loading and unloading the glass washer.
