Divide new staff at beginning of the year and have current PBIS team members "adopt them" to mentor them on building practices for PBIS.

We started doing Friday Assemblies for morning meeting. A quick 10 minute meeting that allows different classes lead in celebrations - including the "Golden Spatula" presented by the lunch staff and "Golden Trash Can" presented by custodian

Review PBIS systems will all staff on PD days to help ensure everyone is on the same page and new teachers have opportunity to ask questions and get ideas from experienced teachers.

Teach-to expectations for alternative locations by staff who monitor those locations - i.e. admin for cafeteria. Teachers to bring students and sit/stay to hear expectations so they can reinforce.

Fab 5 Awards. This is above and beyond monthly hallway recognitions. Teacher or any staff member fills out a Fab Five award. It is read on announcements and Mandie calls home and reads it to the famliy

Self are cards. Card you wear in your lanyard and has 5 things you like. (food snack, drink, break, music, etc) this is also shared in a spreadsheet with staff and the spreadsheet is posted in our work room

We look at a lot of data (tardy, referral, rewards, etc) and create plans but it is difficult to implement consistently with so many missed days and absences.

Re teach - review every day and as many time throughout class if needed
