The resort has an amazing fountain pool that my kids and I enjoyed, along with a really fun arcade. (JAYn)  I was born out in Humboldt county, but have lived the large majority of my life here in Siskiyou--Dunsmuir, specifically.  I'm a nursing major looking towards going into the Licensed Vocational Nurse program at COS, with the long term goal of working towards becoming a Registered Nurse (though it remains to be seen whether I will be directly transferring to start education to that end, or if I will be working for a few years as an LVN first.)  My dream is to one day work with Doctors Without Borders.

I think I'm still going through my favourite moment.  This past month a lot has happened and I feel like I'm gaining momentum again after a long time of being stuck in a rut.  Currently, I'm traveling down in the bay area and staying with my aunt, and it's been a great change of pace in addition to everything else.  I also had a surgery here at UCSF's medical facility (don't worry, it was nothing too serious!), where I met some very skilled and caring nurses, which was very inspirational given my own calling.  Other than that, well, it feels good to finally be getting back on track with my education again!

As my life evolves rounds soccer throughout the summer my favourite moment is when me and my dad went to Spain to watch our team get to a European final. Going from attending 99% of games home or away when I'm back home to only getting to watch them at all hours of the morning over here for months at a time was weird at first but to get the chance to see them play in Spain with my dad in a European final was amazing one of the best times of my life so far regardless of the result. I really had a great summer with seeing the people I love back home as well as this trip with my dad also going to the Canary Islands on holiday was a great way to relax after studying and training over here in the spring semester.
