So deforestation is the purposeful clearing of forested land.Throughout history and into modern times,forests have been razed to make space for agriculture and animal grazing,and to obtain wood for fuel,manufacturing and construction.

So your also asking what’s the problem with it or it’s just trees why should we care?Well the loss of tress and other vegetation can cause climate change,soil erosion,fewer crops,flooding,and a host of problems for indigenous people!(example:Yanomami)

The people that are responsible for deforestation are business and consumers which also means us.BUSINESSES make a lot of paper things that are disposable even though they can focus on reusable items that are a little bit better then disposable things. Consumers just watch people cut down trees and don’t do anything about it because they think it’s okay because they don’t the trees will feel anything. Imagine you and your family working in a short distance away from you all day in one place without moving at all. Then someone just comes out of nowhere and takes your family away.After taking your family away right in front of you suddenly your eyesight turns black…I don’t think you would like that…Would you?Consumers also buys a lot of disposable products. It’s okay if you buy disposable products but you should a least consider recycling it.

Deforestation is a problem for everyone, but here’s what we can do to help the trees survive.

1. Buy less meat, mostly beef, because farmers cut down millions of trees for space for cattle.

2. Volunteer in stopping deforestation protests, etc

3. Take care of our Earth, we can at least help out as much as we can by not littering

4. We only have one Earth, so we have to take care of it!
