         <description><![CDATA[<div>Indefinite article: 부정관사 - a, an<br>*여기서 부정은 not의 의미가 아니라, '정할 수 없는'의 의미임.&nbsp;<br>&gt; 정해지지 않은 대상(특정한 대상이 아닌 경우) 앞에 사용하는 관사<br>&gt; 하나를 의미함.<br>&gt; One을 대신해서 사용됨.&nbsp;<br><br>이때, a는 단수의 가산 명사의 시작이 자음일 때, an은 단수의 가산 명사의 시작이 모음일 때 사용하는 것임.&nbsp;<br>단, 그 시작은 소리 기준임. University 의 경우 모음 U로 시작하지만 Sound는 Y에 가깝기 때문에 자음으로 취급하여 a를 사용함. 또한, 줄임말의 경우, A, E, F, H, I, L, M, N, O, R, S, X 로 시작할 경우 예를 들어, FBI와 같은 경우 [ef] Sound가 남으로 an을 사용함. 하지만 NATO처럼 줄임말이지만 [nato]로 읽는 경우 a 사용. 추가적으로, history 앞 에는 a를 사용하지만, historical book 앞에는 an을 사용함.&nbsp;<br><br>Definite article: 정관사 - the<br>&gt; 정해진 대상(특정한 대상의 경우) 앞에 사용하는 관사</div>]]></description>
