What are the differences between knowledge in science and math? What does the cartoon suggest about the difference?

Conclusive proofs are made in math using assumptions, theorems and axioms whilst gathered data supporting certain hypothesis most like does not transfer the hypothesis into a scientific law. Thus, in the theoretical world of math it is easier to generalise and predict behaviour of variables. In the practical world science attempts to explain, there are many critical aspects playing role in the outcome and possibilities are vaster.

Math is the language of science. The scientific theories rely on mathematical formulas; these theories have mathematical proof therefore statements can be made between the physical objects and forces and numerical systems. However, some experiments, that are still out of human reach are ONLY observational, therefore math cannot be applied as the experiment isn’t yet reachable by current formulas and technology. Definitions can only be assumed by already known cases.
