Time- With the first aircraft hitting the north tower at 8;45am on the 11th September 2001, followed by the second aircraft, which hit the south tower, just 18 minutes after the first aircraft hit.

Vulnerability: Not only the physical impact on the twin towers the death toll reached 2,606 estimated on the twin towers alone. With families losing loved ones. This made America vulnerable which working to up security but also deal with the aftermath of the attacks

Katrina was formed as a reaction of the tropical waves and the remaining debris of a tropical storm
Time: 
Katrina lasted 6 days from 23rd till the 29th of August 2005.The hurricane went from stage 1 to stage 5 within 4 days.
Gravity: 
It took a while for places to respond to the crisis with locals getting angry at the government for being uneffective. New Orleans was the city which was worst effected and the government had no contingency plans and weren't prepared on how to deal with the crisis. Over 1 million people were evacuated and 2 million people lost power and had to wait weeks for it to be restored. 

Vulnerability:
The government lacked plans and people struggled with nowhere to live for days. 
Also the government only had plans put in place to deal with a stage 3 hurricane, they were unprepared and struggled to deal with the crisis.

Time-
The eruption took place December 2017. Bali’s international airport was closed for 3 days.
Gravity- 
This resulted in cancellation of flights meaning tourists were trapped on the island despite a bigger eruption being possible. Indonesia’s National Disaster Management Authoriry declared the highest alert for the volcano 
Vulnerability-
The result of this crisis could temporarily cool the entire planet.
