I feel like this would be very helpful for my Math Education major when I start teaching classes. Many of my math teachers did a lot of activities that involved this kind of learning. One I specifically remember is using math to guess the volume of cans, and then putting that amount of water to see if we got it right. Here's also a really cool video that gives a visual of the Pythagorean Theorem.
