(intro) Casanova is a romantic film directed by Lesse Hallstrom, followed by The Lead Character of the film. Heath Ledgar as Casanova (Lead male Character) and Sienna Miller as Franceska Bruni (Lead Female Character). With the following character Jeremy Irons as Bishop Pucci, Oliver Platt as Papprizzio, Lena Olin as Franceska's Mother, Charlie cox as Giovanni and Natalie Donner as Victoria. Written by  Jeffry Hatcher and Kimberly Simi. 
              The Background of the Film was in Venice, Italy in year of 18 century. The film was released on December 25 year 2005. The film of casanova was telling a story of the adventure of Casanova itself. Casanova was such a genuinely fascinating person, so tireless, seductive, brilliant, revolutionary and daring person.He was a person who seeking for love.
(Body)The promise between mother and son. When Casanova was a boy, He was raised by his grandmother. His mother let her mother  take care of her son. Soon after, the mother made promise to his son that the mother will return and wait for him in Venice. 
               Giacomo Casanova was a man with passion of lustful (love), an adventurer, a Seductive person, a brilliant person and fascinating. He didn't want to leave Venice cause the promise that he made with his mother. In Venice Casanova was a man of well known by all of the girls. Because Casanova always have sex with almost all of the girls in Venice. Until he was being chased down on the rooftop, drop by in the university where he made a disaster and ruined the meeting on the university (where he met Francesca Bruni with cross dressing clothes). And than Casanova been taken by the Inquisition (the kingdom guards) and take him to the prison. Before that happens, the Doge came in time to talk about things with him because he was sympathetic towards him. the Doge told him to get married or else the doge will banished him from the city. But Casanova won't leave because the promise that he made with his mother.
              Searching for a beautiful, innocent, and pure looking woman, Casanova need Lupo (his partner) to help him and giving advice in searching of a woman that he wanted to married with. So they found one, a young beautiful woman with fascinating, innocent and pure looking woman named Victoria. Her Father was agreed to betroth her daughter (Victoria) with Casanova. Victoria was a pure and innocent looking woman until Casanova found out that she was a lustful person. 
             Soon after a person named Giovanni who was falling in love with Victoria for a long time jealous with Casanova and wanted to make a duel with him. Before that happen Casanova change his named into Salvato, so Giovanni himself don't know his real identity. When the duel begin, Casanova thought that, the man who fight him was Giovanni in the first place(because they are all wearing a mask, so the identity of the person who fights Casanova unknown. and Casanova himself thought that the man who was fighting with him was Giovanni). Until Casanova discovered that the man was fighting him, was not a man but instead a woman named Franceska Bruni (Giovanni older sister). Soon after the fight was off and the introducing begins.
             Francesca Bruni was a woman who always thought that a woman should have right to do things like man do. to achieve that Franceska wrote a book about womans rights, life and things. Franceska used the named of Bernardo Guardi as a writer of the book so the people think that the person who wrote the book is Bernardo Guardi. Casanova/Salvato fall in loved with Franceska. but he didn't know until she was betrothed with a person named Papprizzio who produce pigs fat from Genoa. She hasn't met the person named Papprizzio. To achieve for love, Casanova change his identity again from salvato into Papprizzio, so Franceska and her family think that Salvato is Papprizzio.
           Before that Casanova planned that to introduce himself as Papprizzio guide and take him to his place. So no one could intrude the relationship between Casanova and Francesca. Papprizzio was taken care by Lupo because Papprizzio wanted to change his body self so that he can be more confidence with Francesca. And the plan goes well. Until a man came from Vatican named Bishop Pucci intrude the plan and make things more complicated for Casanova. He wanted to capture a man who wrote the book about woman (Bernardo Guardi/Francesca Bruni) and wanted to capture Casanova, because he labeled Bernardo Guardi as guilty person who interrupted the laws and as for Casanova he labeled as Bidaah( Bid'ah/heresy).
          A ball begins in Venice, Casanova/Papprizzio and Francesca went to the ball with her family. as for Victoria, she went to the ball alone without his father permission (his father won't allow Victoria to go to the ball). Bishop Pucci make a prediction that Casanova won't come to the ball. so he went to the house of Casanova. Casanova/Papprizzio introduce himself to the doge with Francesca that they come to the ball. but casanova/Papprizzio hide his face so that the doge didn't recognize him. And suddenly Victoria came and switch name from Papprizzio to Casanova the doge was pleased that Casanova already have a Fiance. 
         When Bishop Pucci discover that the Papprizzio from the ball was a fake and the real one was in hold, Bishop and his men rush up to the ball, ruined the party and captured Casanova. Bishop also thought that Casanova was Bernardo Guardi. And on that time Francesca discovered that the man he loved wasn't her mate but instead his identity was an impostures. Francesca was really mad and disappointed. So Bishop took Casanova and take him to the court. 
         Francesca cross dressing as a men, intrude the meeting and make a revealed that she herself was Bernardo Guardi. She was fall in love with Casanova because he trying to protect the woman he loves from danger. Still Bishop didn't agree to free Casanova because of the crimes he made. 
         Just as Casanova and Francesca are about to be hanged in the Piazza San Marco, they are saved by an announcement that the Pope gave amnesty to all prisoners who were to be executed on that day, as it was the Pope's birthday. It is later discovered that the "Cardinal" who gave the announcement was actually an impostor who happens to be Casanova's stepfather, wedded to his long-lost mother who came back for him just as she promised when Casanova was a child. 
          As they all escape on Papprizzio's boat, Francesca's brother, Giovanni, stays behind to continue Casanova's legendary womanizing. As for Casanova and Francesca well, they both live happily as the story end. “True Love”, is someone who sees you very special even though you’re not perfect, but still wants you in their life. 
          For sociology, I associate the social problems with the theory of symbolic interaction / labeling theory, because according to this theory, a social condition group or society is considered problematic, due to the condition it was labeled a problem. In the film Casanova, Casanova labeled as sexual abuse against women, it includes theory labbeling because Casanova has been found guilty by Bishop Pucci.
