This line made me think we should be careful what we wish for. What we are wishing for may not be all that we have dreamed it to be.

"Their effects are permanent, and extend far beyond the mere casual impulse. But they include it.

Oh, yes they include it. Bountifully, insistently. Everlastingly.

We should be careful how we approach a problem or something we think we may have heard. Sometimes people are unaware of what they may have said. Treat others like you want to be treated and that will echo back to you!

"Some of our girls are echolalic".....Echolalic," the troop leader continued. " That means they will say whatever they hear, like an echo- that's were the word comes from. It comes from 'echo.'"

The troop leader also guaranteed that what may have been said was not intentional.

Miss Brill was describing herself as she talked about the fur. "What has been happening to me?'"

When she put the lid on the fur box, she thought she heard someone crying. She was the one crying.

I think this story is about stereotyping Indians. Victor missed two free throws to win the game. He picked up the sports section and read the headline: Indians Lose Again.

"Go ahead and tell me none of this is supposed to hurt me very much."

Henry Junior loved to drive his care around before he went to war. Lyman took the hammer to it and tried to tear it up. Lyman did that so he could help Henry. I really like that part about this story.

This is a very sad story that is not about the "Lottery", but a drawing to be stoned. I immediately thought about the Hunger Games after reading this story.

Annie is trying to let go of her relationship with Ben. Annie gives a few details about her relationship with Ben. She is slowly letting go of Ben throughout the story.

This drama can have many different meaning to the readers. I think the fence symbolizes how Troy's wife wants to keep her family there. especially Troy.

She is in the one who wanted the fence to be built.

This drama also lets the reader in on how the "Black America" is treated.
