The myStudent platform does not have the capability for teachers to acknowledge electronically receiving information--as 504 "case managers" we are responsible for obtaining the receipt of acknowledgment. I am working to see if accommodations can eventually be tracked in myStudent but this capability is also not available at this time. ​

I agree that coordination of testing opportunities can be very time consuming. The goal has always been to streamline the paperwork as much as possible, especially for this upcoming 2021-2022 school year. PEER currently has 4 documents that are used to generate 504 paperwork for each case. However, since PEER is a state-developed platform, it does not include additional paperwork that is required and Pasco-specific (such as Parent/Student Safeguards, Plan/Accommodation Review Forms, Data Collection Tools, BOY letter to parents/guardians, etc.).  Each document and procedure serve a purpose. Some changes I anticipate happening are: 1) not needing to provide each teacher a copy of their student's 504 Plans as the student's accommodations are now visible in the 504 Tab in MyStudent.  Also, 2) the Data Entry Sheets will now only need to be updated at the end of the first quarter or if a reevaluation occurs anytime throughout the year. 

​I understand, which is why it will be important to follow the procedures described in the 504 OneNote accurately. The transition to a whole new platform has been challenging but it will get easier the more accustomed to it we get.
