It was by far one of the best books I have ever read and I enjoyed it so much. Madeline Miller takes the story of Achilles and makes it something you wouldn’t expect but are happy it exists. As I finished, I then made a playlist for it on Spotify and liked the song l, Achilles Come Down by Gang of Youths. I recently started this series about the amazing Dr. Masters and Virginia Johnson who studied sex and its physiological responses, in the lab with real subjects both as single participants and couples. Before watching this series, I watched "Kinsey", which was another pioneer of sexology, who conducted thousands of surveys and interviews about people's sexual history. The animation style is 10/10, and the way the show switches from animation to claymation is like nothing I've seen before. Both my friend and I struggle with mental illness, and I feel like this show really caters to that demographic. I found myself rethinking a lot, but also finding relief in a lot of the jokes. I would reccomend this show to anyone who needs a good laugh, or is simply just bored. I have only watched the first three episodes which are strange creatures, strange structures, and evil places. I have had nightmares about some of them, but because I feel they have done such a good job with conveying the information and making these stories believable to an extent. They talk about theories with the pyramids and other places like the Suicide Forest that I have only heard surface level things about. So, I found it more interesting to dig deeper into these topics.
