•LSMEA -  Which is the Authority frameworks for Maintenance Engineering on land Systems.

BDR I belive is not currently full understood at the lowest levels of the Army.

LSMEA - Is new framework and requires understanding at all levels of engineering within the Army.

Currently one terminal per section. A lot of time is wasted trying to get a terminal and sometimes jobs are not updated correctly or at all. There are JUD’s available which can be used to update jobs, but personnel are not currently trained, comfortable or competent using JUD’s. 

I am looking at conducting a lesson on the JUD so that it can be used to improve efficiency.

The first part of this is to teach/brief senior commanders what it is and what is expected of them. I have already started developing the lesson and will be delivering it at the start of December. This safe system of work is under constant review with feedback from users and lesson learnt being used to improve the LOTO system. Training on the subject has had to change over recent years to incorporate al the changes and new way of using LOTO. I propose to improve workplace training with the use of practical demonstrations and scenario-based training on both mechanical and electrical systems, including the administration of paperwork.

I am currently introducing some changes to the user interface that will simplify incident management based on some common user errors. I would like to use my training event to introduce these changes to users who are already familiar with how the database works.

This allows handovers of projects to happen efficiently without a loss of production.
