Macbeth argues that he should kill the king because if he were to do so he would receive external damnation and there is no real reason to kill the king other than his own driving ambition. He also argues that the king has never once abused his power as king and Duncan is his cousin and he is his subject. It would be evil to kill the king and things like this tend to backfire. 9/10

He believes it will cause problems in the future.. He's duncans relative. He believes a king should never abuse his royal powers. Duncan is too much of a good person so thereis no reason to kill him if the only reason is because of macbeths ambitious 9/10

If Macbeth kills Duncan, there will be consequences and will cause problems later. Macbeth is Duncan's relative and the king has never abused his royal powers. He also knows that terrible deeds always backfire, and will backfire against him and there will be karma. The only reason he wants to kill Duncan is for his own personal reasons, Duncan is a good person and has not done anything to be driven to death. 9/10

He says that Duncan has never abused his power as king . Also that he should be helping and protecting him from his murder not him being the one who kills him. He also states that there is no reason for Duncan to be murdered except for his own driving and ambition. It will also backfire on him9/10

Also Macbeth is the host of the dinner so that would be wrong to kill your own guest, and he would feel guilty afterwards. 10/10

Macbeth's conscience is kicking in and making him think that he doesn't have to kill the king. With having Duncan over, he seems mostly like a good man towards Macbeth. 1.If this killing has no negative consequences, Macbeth would face an eternal damnation, feel guilty, and that bad actions (such as this plan) leads to karma 2. Then he thinks that Duncan is his cousin, a blood relative and macbeth is the host for the dinner. 3. Duncan isn't a selfish leader, he doesn't abuse his powers. 4. Overall Macbeth believes that Duncan is a good person, that there would be no reason to kill him besides for Macbeth's selfishness for wanting to be king. 10/10
