It would be very challenging for me to find another boarding barn with enough horses and willing owners to conduct this experiment. Although this is possible, it would be far too expensive for me to attempt to do. I also risk the chance of owners becoming unwilling to participate any longer because it is a lot to ask a horse owner to wash, brush, braid, and bag a horse’s tail weekly for two months. The control group only grew an average of 4 inches while everyone using shampoo and conditioner grew longer than that. Out of all the brands, Cowboy Magic was the brand that helped the horse’s tail grow the longest by a significant amount.
