My name is Bianca, I’m 21 years old and I am very happy to say that this is my last year of College.

This is my 4th year in Madrid as a student, thank God. You know I like being a student. I’m not living with my parents anymore, I can do almost anything that I want, I don’t have to go to bet at 11 p.m. and all that good stuff. At the same time, I’ve become tired of studying. I’m more interested in learning, you see I have been a student since I was a little kid, and it has been always the same.

From September till June I go to “school”, I take notes, I study for an exam, I have the exam, I pass it, and the cycle shall to restart again. For the past three summer I have worked as a cook with my mum in a bar in my home town, and although I was exhausted after all that work I’d get paid. I guess what I’m trying to say is that it feels like it’s just about the right time for a change.

Here is a picture of me. It’s the one I’m using in all my CVs cause I look decent.

“My everyday routine”

I usually get up at 7 a.m. It takes me about an hour to get ready. I like to take my time to cuddle with my cat (her name is Shelly and she’s so gorgeous) and enjoy my breakfast while watching some random video on YouTube. I live with another two people, but they have classes on evenings, so I usually have my toasts all by myself (Celine Dion moment). That takes me usually about 15 minutes, then I spend another 20 to put some makeup on, tame my hair (my hair is very curly, it doesn’t look so in the picture because I tried to make it look as if is not in order to make it look more “professional”, but I love how curly it is) and to choose an outfit.

Renting a place in Madrid is hella expensive, so I live about an hour or so from my University. Some people read while they’re on the sub, but it’s too early for me to process information. At some point halfway there, I meet with my best friend and we talk about how boring some of the subjects are. I usually arrive home at 3 p.m. starving. If I’m lucky enough I might have lunch with my flat mate, if not I’ll watch the Simpsons with Shelly by my side.

I love my siesta, so I make sure to take a nap regularly. Another hobby of mine is finding the weirdest and most random videos, like this one for example:
