Two cockapoos, Monty and Rosie, noticed eachother on a walk a year after adoption. The siblings then decided it was time to (quite literally) hug it out. Even dogs can recognize their family separated at birth!

The only thing that seemed to go untouched was their highs school football field. The town took this as a sign of hope that things would get better. It didn't take them long to get the field cleaned up and ready to play on again. In 2014 Minawao hosted 60,000 + refugees in Cameroon but they cut down all the surrounding forest to make firewood, making the area a dessert wasteland. Bear was trained in Australia at the University of the Sunshine Coast, where their Detection Dogs for Conservation team taught the former rescue dog to use his heightened sense of smell to hunt out the injured koalas among the ashes.
As he searched burned habitat to help the USC/IFAW team and their partners to rescue over 100 koalas..

He operates an annual Thanksgiving dinner at a local church and it becomes a tradition of his. This dinner at first served senior citizens, but now more homeless citizens were included too. Ever since the pandemic hit, his family and he worked together to raise money for a “takeout” version of the dinner by offering takeout and delivery. 
He also operates a food delivery program called "Hope Walks," where he leads volunteers on trips to deliver food to people who are experiencing homelessness. During the pandemic, he expanded those efforts and now does them three times a week.

Firefighters and first responders were able to pinpoint where a trapped dog was underground, and safely rescued it.
