I like the pacing in the story and how the author doesn't make it too fast or too slow so the reader can keep up with what is happening. The transitions between settings is very good and there are many parts in the story where the author did a good job on the description. -John Simoes

The Window

This book was great, the suspense created with the first time steven wakes up really helps set the mood for the rest of the story. Each subsequent awakening makes you begin to wonder about what keeps messing with the window. When they search for him the tension created was great as the reader knows Steven isn't just playing with Joe and might be in genuine danger. The ending is also good where it leaves the reader wondering what it is the being was and what it did to Steven and Joe, maybe even the rest of their family.

I really enjoyed reading this short story. I love how the narrator was able to give perspective on what the actual character was thinking as well as gradually and subtly move on with the plot. The story was very realistic and it was very clear an easy to follow. I could clearly see the elements of suspense and I loved the pacing towards the ends of the story.

This story was about a man in NY getting a 1 million dollar bounty put on his head. I thought that this idea was a really original and interesting idea. The world building and setting, I thought fit the story really well.

I really enjoyed the concept of this short story. The way the setting was presented added a feeling of suspense. The pacing in the story was enjoyable, it kept the whole short story interesting for the whole time. I also enjoyed the dangerous action in the story presented in the questionable decisions that the main character made. The short story ended on a good cliffhanger which left me wondering what happened next. Overall, The Broom Closet was an enjoyable reading experience. - Jayden

This story was great, the way she used suspension to really pull in the reader was really well written. I liked how she used time, to let the reader know when certain things were happening throughout the story. The pacing in the story was also well written. I enjoyed ready this story and the author did an amazing job.

This story was really good. I read the rough draft for it and I really liked it then. When I found out we were reading toher peoples stories, I knew I had to read the final draft of this story and it did not disappoint me. I liked how the horror elements were built up in a dark room and while the stroy is being told, the scary moments come out of nowhere. I thought the pacing was really good as it establishes both the tone and the setting of the story. The foreshadowing was really good since it builds everything up at a steady pace. The dangerous action introduced the climax really well. I also liked the ending since it was a cliffhanger. I thought the story was really good and it fit it's genre really well.

This story was very interesting and had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. the suspense was there. i was kind of confused with the note part but besides that i think it was really good. It wasn't too too long either which is good and it got to the point fast (< meaning I liked the pacing). it was about this girl Lilly, very introverted, who didn't want to go outside but one day her friend made her, and all this stuff happened. Whoever wrote this did a great job!

I liked how it was nice and short but was still able to tell a good story with lots of suspense. Laura was a pretty realistic and relatable character which helped me understand some of her actions in the story. The cliffhanger was well done and left lots of room to think about what exactly happened to her.

The story was a great idea and it really looks interesting from the cover. I like the way the story was written, it was written really well. The only thing is there was some mistakes on grammar and punctuation and in the beginning the time was kind of messed up but she fixed it.

I loved this story. The pacing throughout the whole thing really sells the story. From the Renee ( The main character) answering the message to when everything went black. It was all very well written. You can really see where Naa wanted the story to go. Overall I enjoyed it.

This story was very good and very detailed, but the only thing is I wish it could be longer. I feel like the story is a little short and should continue or something.

I really loved this story and I think the element of suspense were conveyed very well. The pacing in the story was great and not knowing what will happen next kept me at the edge of my seat. The plot of an endless forest is very intriguing and knowing the characters thoughts makes it even better. The monster is a very mysterious and villainous character. The ending is very suspense and I enjoyed reading the whole story. - William Giannopoulos

i loved this story a lot. i love the name too. I loved all the details especially the part where her dad came back and the excitement her and her mom had felt when the father came back. The story overall was super cute and entertaining, good job

This story was better than I expected it would be. Parts such as the description of the aircraft, to the little mercy the aliens show when killing the dog. I feel like this adds a great element of fear but yet curiosity. Also, great dialogue. Everything said was realistic and clear. You could see the many parts when the characters were either scared or just trying to survive the situation. Good job.

Missing is a story about two girls going out on Halloween and getting kidnapped. The begin of the story is a bit long, however it is nice to have it because latter on, it gives you a better point of view and connection with the main character Ava, and how she is feeling. I think that the pacing of the story is quite good. It has a slow pacing to a pretty "quick" climax, which makes you go from reading it casually to having your heart pump at what will happen next. - Owen Cohane

This story is well written, and I like the idea of the story. Isabella is such a lovely and caring sister to his brother. The ghost is really understandable and caring and realized she shouldn't have jumped in conclusion with her action and her thoughts about Noah. I love your story and it's really sweet and short

I like the idea of the music box that the two main characters are trying to find out how to open the box and know what is in there and who owns this. I also like the ending. The author did not tell us what would happen to the two main characters, but she left a place for us to imagine what would happen to the characters in the story. The pace of the story is very good, she/he keeps his/her own pace and allows readers to follow the story without any confusion after reading the story. - Sze Yu

I thought this story was going to pretty good or decent, but once the message about what Renee did to Lilyhanna, I was proven wrong. The ending is what sold it for me especially because it was a cliffhanger. The only flaw I saw was the grammer.

i love the concept and honestly i read it cause it made me think of phantom of the opera but now that i read it, it has a really good concept and it seemed really emotional and cute. i love thet her dad comes back to life cause honestly i needed a good ending like that after everything.😂
