Strategies/Programs/Projects. Are they working:

• In collaboration with their Member groups, they bring the pro-life message onto Canadian city streets, into homes, and offices, through their innovative use of multi-media campaigns, national polling, educational resources, and through their presence in mainstream media news. One of the things that they have organized is the National day of Prayer & Fasting, in which they try to get as many people as possible to pray for different issues that are happening, such as Abortion. Life Canada has created many websites about abortion, and there are many people that view the websites. Life Canada is established as a national association of local and provincial educational pro-life groups across Canada for the purpose of promoting the respect and dignity of all human life.

Objective/Mission:

• To give other options to women other than abortion.

• To help the women through their pregnancy, and find jobs that they can do from their house while they can't work elsewhere.
  

• To provide advice, and care both during and after the baby.

Strategies/Programs/Projects. Are they working: We have a series of centers around southeast Manitoba, that are free for women who are pregnant and don't want an abortion, or are still deciding. We provide them with information on why they should not have an abortion, as well as trained midwives or doulas to help with each individual through their pregnancy. We have support groups of women who are all going through the same stuff. This is very successful, as some people get abortions because they don't know what else to do. But now they have a better option, and someone to go through it with

Who runs it/Works for it: These separate centers all operate under Janaya Goertzen, but have different coordinators for each center.

How is it funded: Donations by individuals, or groups of people. It is a non-profit organization.
