We asked a select group of 8 people to participate in a energy study for 12 weeks. In this study, the participants will be asked to consume one cup of coffee at a different time everyday. We will test how well they function throughout the day and their energy levels.

At the end of the 12 week trial we found that the controls in the group, (morning coffee drinkers) were more efficient throughout the day. They worked more efficiently and slept better through the night. The afternoon coffee drinkers were very inefficient throughout the morning work time and it took longer for their energy levels to go up in the afternoon. The caffeine made the controls stay up much later and most reported that they did not sleep through the night.
