Forces - HA

Gravity helps the studs stick into the ground and normal force helps it not get stuck in the ground. Without neutral force we wouldn't even need soccer cleats because it would be alot harder to move. In some leagues soccer players where plastic or rubber studs because the grass is really dry or not to soft. for every action force there is a simultaneous reaction force that is equal in magnitude but opposite in direction. most of the time its the mechanic force that is pushing down on the ground. While playing soccer you use muscle force which helps the person push off when the studs on the bottom of the shoe help give grip for the player which help him move.

The studs of the shoe are the spikes coming out of the bottom. These help the player have more traction while changing direction or just running straight. There are also different types of studs. There are studs for grass in a normal state, There are metal studs meant for wet or muddy conditions, and there are studs meant for artificial grass or turf. The material of the cleat also helps. Cleats made of leather are better for protection against studs but not as good for technique and speed. They also stretch more to fit to your foot. Today, most people wear synthetic cleats which are much better for skills and speed. They also fit slightly tightly so that you have more control and they are much lighter than leather but a bit less comfortable. The material is also thinner so you have less protection. Today cleats are also made with a small sock built in around you ankle for comfort and support. They are also being built without a tongue for a flatter surface for more control when striking the ball

A soccer cleat is mostly used for playing soccer. the tongue on the shoe helps the persons foot stay inside the shoe when they try to do anything. the cushioning in the shoe help it make it more comfortable for the person wearing the shoe. the studs on the shoe help the player make sharp turns on muddy grass but it also gives them better friction. the tip of the shoe helps the soccer player shoot the ball and also helps keep control of it when you shoot the ball. The laces on a shoe help the tongue keep your foot inside the shoe. the heal on the shoe helps keep the foot inside the shoe.

How are shoes and society connected? - HA

Society and shoes are connected by many different ways, one being that they help people meet friends say at the shopping mall or even during sports when your playing soccer. another way that soccer and society are connected. one way that they are connected is because society sees one man play basketball, and if they think he's good they think "wow he's wearing those shoes, so now i want to wear them But in other cases say that someone not as famous wears them then they suddenly become less popular and you feel like you dont want to wear them anymore.

Some cleats contained levels of polyfluorinated compounds (PFC's). fossil fuels are used to power the machines which creat greenhouse gasses. These are needed to create the shoe with lots of chemicals involved. Some of these chemicals include chlorinated phenols, tribromphenol, chlorinated paraffins, and dimethylfumarate which can be used for materials such as leather. One shoe can produce up to 30 pounds of carbon dioxide. When the shoe is disposed, it ends up in landfills and eventually contaminate the soil as it decomposes. To avoid this problem you can either donate or recycle your old shoes
