This resource would help me as I am in a children's home setting where some of the young people struggle with their device time. They find it difficult to put down and some of the things mentioned in the resource are elements they may not think of being negative. For example, one child in my care is easily drawn in by flash sales with time limits on TikTok or Instagram. Identifying this as something that is targeted to him would make this easier to manage. The resource would highlight how a lot of things are connected and designed to make him feel a certain way and knowing this, he may be better at identifying them.

FAW CicStart framework

This recourse was interesting to read through! CicStart is a framework that is designed to deliver football activities to children aged 7-11 with learning disabilities. This is most relevant to me because I work with ALN in mainstream primary schools. I see a lot of neurotypical children having access to sporting activities suitable for them, but not so much for ALN children. However, this framework will be useful to me to ensure our ALN students get an equal opportunity to excersise in a way that is right for them!
