 Angela Davis was a young girl who was born on January 26,1994 in Birmingham Alabama, where she grew up in a middle class neighborhood. Based on her mothers niche for education as she was an elementary school teacher, Davis up bringing as a black girl in a dominant white neighbor she had soon became a radical African American educator as well as a activists for civil rights and social issues.   

 Angela Davis was more than an activists as she was also a book writer. Her many pieces of work centered around multiple topics such as gender inequality, prison reform, and alliances across color lines. However, in her early childhood Davis experienced the wrath of the kkk as many houses in the area would get blown up if they were black owned . Davis had also studied philosophy and graduated from the university of california. Through her many experiences of inequality it lead to her involvement in the black panther party as many other associations specifically the all black portion of the Communist Party.
