Some of the greatest take away from the article are that you really need to think about how far you want to move because at first you might want to go somewhere far but when you are there you might change your mind. The enrollment size is also important to know how many students attend there. The last take away was what a good fit emotionally, athletically, culturally and spiritually could I find.

My greatest take away from this article is that "Students need to be educated consumers and know what they’re looking for before making their purchase." This is something that I have never thought of because it is true you have to feel safe and comfortable where they are studying at because that's the place where you are going to be for more than 2 years of your life. I also learned that there are many parts to finding the perfect college that includes social, academic, financial, environmental, religion, food, living, and much more is taken into consideration when choosing a college to go to.

The author gives you so many reasons on why you should visit the place, stay for the night, to try out the food that they have there, and ask students that are attending at the college about how they feel about going to this college. The author includes the fact that students should be educated about researching first and then make a purchase.

You'll have to be educated on the product and decide if it really is worth it or not because once you see it in person you'll get a realistic take on your dream. For example, staying in the dorm for the night is the best way to get a taste of the campus.

When picking schools we should try looking for the school that will have all our needs as in we don't need to go to a school that doesn't have everything we want because there will always be other schools who will have what we need. I also liked how it was opening on making sure to check out the school if possible before actually deciding to attend it as to make sure all is good at the school.
