Common Core Standards are embedded in the Propositions Project. Here are some samples of the Common Core Standards students applied in their project. In CCSS ELA-LITERACY CCRA R.7. The students integrated media to help them persuade audience in their commercial. Secondly, in CCSS ELA- LITERACY CCRA R.8 and R.9 the students analyzed the different propositions to help them evaluate and choose what position they wanted to take to enable them to create their persuasive commercial.

I believe this would be a great assignment for blended learning. The instructor can first meet with his students' whole group in a brick and mortar setting. Here the instructor can explain and set up students in collaborative groups. He can also set the class in a station rotation as he facilitates each group's propositions. In a flipped classroom students can continue work away from school. They can continue working on their project alone, with a partner or in their collaborative groups. In this flipped classroom set up to work at their own time, place or pace. The teacher can also set up lab rotations for each group to work together on computers.

A challenge can be that a student may contribute very little or nothing at all to the project. Another issue is that some students may not have access to the internet away from brick and mortar building. Still some students may still need to learn the different 2.0 web applications to help them complete the assignment. Lastly, I know as an online student I have lost work,my internet has gone down, I don’t know the application and there are time constraints and things happen beyond your control to complete the task on time.
