Acually Sweden wasn´t a country back then but the Vikings were living on what we now know is Swedish soil. 

Many people think that vikings were scavengers that just fought, killed and plundered wearing horned helmets. But that´s not the truth acually they spent most of their time farming and they didn´t wear horned helmet.

A smorgasbord is a buffet with all kinds of foods both warm and cold. On the smorgasbord we usually have meatballs, sausages, christmas ham, herring with different spices and sauces, eggs with caviar or other toppings, potatoes and much else. Many Vikings became christian and later on the Vikings became became more civilized and the middle ages started in Sweden.
During this time Sweden had lots of different kings and queens that ruled the country. Many of them were bad tyrants but some of them made a few good actions like for example Gustav Vasa.
Gustav Vasa was a regular farmer that lived in Sweden when we had a Danish tyrant as a king with the name king Kristian.

On the weekend Swedes love to eat tacos, pizza or burgers. We have special pizzas in Sweden with really thin crusts and one of the most popular pizza is the kebab pizza.
