Bulit in 1946 to give Boston clean fresh drinking water took down houses took down gravestones left the Indians and moved everything to a new town. No building's trees or any kind of debree in the town.

In the 1920's it became apparent that eastern massachetts did not have a large

enough water to satisfy its growing needs for water. Thirsty eastern massachetts inhabitants looked westward to the swift river only 100 miles away.

Houses were bulldozed, bodies were dug up ( except native Americans) Factories were bulldozed and millions of trees were demolished.
