         <title>Where the Wild Things Are</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The main character, Max, is a mischievous young boy who his mother considers as a "wild thing". After his mother punishes him, by sending him to bed without dinner, he goes into such a rage that his room begins to transform into a moonlight forest surrounded by a vast ocean. There is a boat waiting for him and he is happy and excited to travel and adventure out to these faraway lands that will allow him to escape his mother's strict rules. Max comes upon the place where the wild things are and the ferocious creatures try to scare Max away but soon realize that he is the wildest thing and make him the king of wild things. Now that Max is in charge he orders the wild things to start a wild rumpus. After days of shouting, stomping, dancing, and swinging through the trees Max has had enough and begins to miss his mother. he understands now how hard it is to be in charge and decides to go back home where he is loved most.<br>Sendak, Maurice.<em> Where the Wild Things Are</em>.          <title>Kitten&#39;s First Full Moon</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>When the kitten first notices the moon she thinks to herself, "there's a little bowl of milk in the sky" and she wanted that bowl of milk. The kitten tries to reach her head out and take a drink of the milk but ends up almost eating a bug. Then she tries to jump to get the bowl of  milk so she leap from her porch but tumbles down the steps. The kitten climbed as high as she could and ran as fast as she could but nothing worked.          <title>The Snowy Day</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Peter wakes up and looks out his window discovering it snowed over night so he gets up and begins to get ready for an eventful day. He puts on his red snowsuit and runs outside to explore making different interesting tracks through the snow with his feet. Peter comes upon a group of older boys in a snowball fight and thinks to join them someday, but not today. Peter makes snowmen, snow angels, and even climbs up a mountain of snow. Peter goes inside and gets ready for bed but before he goes to sleep he checks his coat pocket to see if the snowball he put in there was still there, but it was not which made him sad. Peter dreams that the sun has melted all the snow but when he wakes up he sees he snow is still there And more snow was falling.          <title>Make Way for Ducklings</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Mr. and Mrs. Mallard are searching for a place to start a family, but they can not agree on one. Tired from all the traveling and searching they decide to land and rest at the Public Garden Lagoon. The Mallard's awake and Mrs. Mallard decides that they are going to stay there and as she says that she is almost ran over by a bicyclist, so they continue their search. They finally decide upon an island in the Charles River where they are fed peanuts everyday by a policeman. Shortly after Mrs. Mallard hatches eight ducklings named Jack, Kack, Lack, Mack, Nack, Ouack. Pack, and Quack. Mrs. Mallard and the ducklings were having trouble crossing the street but with the help of the generous policeman Mrs. Mallard and all of her ducklings made it home safely.<br>McCloskey, Robert.<em> Make Way for Ducklings</em>. He makes many different things out of the overcoat such as a vest, necktie, button, scarf, and a handkerchief. Once Joseph loses his button he makes a story telling readers everything he made out of his old worn overcoat.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The story begins when Mouse lets Rabbit, his best friend, play with his new toy airplane. While Rabbit is playing with the airplane it accidentally gets stuck in a tree while Mouse is in the plane. Every time Rabbit tries to free the airplane he just causes more trouble. Every idea that Rabbit comes up with has something go wrong with it making the little problem a big one.          <description><![CDATA[<div>A little fish steals a big fish’s hat while the big fish is asleep. The little fish thinks that he will get away with it, but the big fish wakes up and begins to follow him. A crab sees the little fish swimming into tall plants and the crap promises he will not tell anyone where the little fish went, but the crab directs the big fish to the direction where the little fish is hiding.          <title>The Funny Little Woman</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The little old woman’s favorite things to do is laugh and make dumplings. One day a dumpling rolled down into a hole and so the little woman runs after her dumpling and ends up in a strange place underground. The Jizo, guardians, notice the woman and warn her to not go after her dumpling because of the oni, monsters, but she went anyway. The oni capture her and make the woman coin rife for them with a magic paddle. The old woman gets homesick and escaped on a boat with the magic paddle so to try and stop her the oni drink all the water. She begins to struggle which make the evil oni laugh causing the water to flow back in the river allowing the little funny woman to escape. One day she meets a guest in her mother’s boarding house, Monsieur Bellini, not knowing that he is a celebrated tightrope walker. Bellini teaches Mirette how to tightrope walk and they begin to form a close bond.
