One of the key recommendations, 'Knowledge for Senior Management’, will focus on the gaps that can exist in public sector clients/contracting authorities (including at times an inconsistent view and misunderstanding of MMC), and the optimal ways to procure and deliver MMC projects. 

As key stakeholders, MMC Ireland members have the opportunity to highlight how public sector clients should procure MMC projects, highlighting and protecting the good practices that already exist, using the structures currently in place while also putting forward a set of recommendations to improve potential knowledge gaps and deliver a more appropriate procurement process.

MMC Ireland has developed a collaboration tool to capture members' comments and suggestions split across different sectors to recognise the differences in existing procurement requirements across each. The Policy working group will collate all comments/suggestions into a clear and concise insights document, which will be presented to EY at the 12^th Dec and be circulated to all members.
