I think it makes a difference. Especially when we take a break to play games that are relevant to the content. That’s always fun. Cause you can always say “But hey at least I’m learning something“.

During peer teachings, my professor would send messages to us to simulate real events that would happen in a classroom during instruction. He once called me on my phone and I had to pretend I was a student talking on their phone during my colleagues music lesson.

It's usually something that we didn't really need technology for, but chose to anyways. Sometimes it's extra helpful but usually from my experience not 100% necessary.

The last time I used technology in the classroom was in my class on Monday. We did a padlet as well. I really like using technology in the classroom but there is always the risk of technical difficulty. But padlets are fun because you can interact with the whole class in a “less scary” kind of way. I think that as teachers we have to adapt with the students and we HAVE to implement technology in some fashion.
