By using a weekly list, I was able to keep track of the assignments, progress, and due date of what I needed to do for each class. Some parts of list would change, but I kept my consistent assignments on the list to make sure the were to be completed.

By reading one academic journal article each month and summarizing it, I've found that this practice not only enhances my understanding of current research trends in my field but also improves my critical thinking and summarization skills. Reading and summarizing articles also allows me to see how theoretical concepts apply in real-world scenarios, deepening my overall understanding.

I will participate in one SOTA meeting a month as evidenced by a summary and reflection for each meeting attended.

As evidenced by a reflective summary of my experiences joining and attending SOTA meetings, I made new social and academic relationships, deepening my understanding and connection to occupational therapy as a profession. Through these meetings, I was able to interact with peers who share similar goals, which made the experience feel more meaningful and supportive. I was also able to meet upperclassmen, who have been able to give me helpful insight into coursework, fieldwork, and what to expect moving forward. Overall, this experience helped me feel more confident in my decision to pursue occupational therapy and more connected to the community within the major.
