ASL is the primary language of many Northern Americans who are deaf and is one of several communication options used by people who are deaf or hard of hearing.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>early on most people thought that deaf or hard of hearing people were dumb and could not do anything, in some cases the government would take away the child if both parents were deaf, they believed that they could not take care of a child and that the child would not survive if they were left with the parents.<br>But, now things are a lot different, now sign language is used all around the world and doctors are coming up with new ways to make life a little easier for the deaf community. </div>]]></description>

The implant consists of an external portion that sits behind the ear and a second portion that is surgically placed under the skin.<br>~ <strong>Speech therapy</strong>  Speech therapy is  training to help people with speech and language problems to speak more clearly.</div>]]></description>
