33 students spent a week in our partner school in Pescara - Istituto Comprensivo 9 - where we had a rich programme of activities prepared by the host school. We danced, sang, played, did sightseeing, made mosaics, discussed and this all was done in English.

The teachers of Polish and Italian schools after getting to know each other found another partner in Greece and started an eTwinning project titled: "Artful Minds: A Journey To Empathy" which consisted of four stages - over 200 young students (9-11) made friends, learned their emotions and expressed them in various artistic forms.

Language practice for staff in Malta - June 2025

Two members of the school management team - our principal and viceprincipal - went to Malta language school - ATLAS - for one week to improve their English language skills. They need to use English at work to deal with English speaking families and to deal with international projects. Their mobility results in better international contact with our partners, maintaining contact with partners both abroad and onsite.

Job shadowing in Finland - Espoo (November 2025)

Three teachers from our school - a Montessori teacher, a Polish language and literature teacher and an English teacher were guests of Maininki school in Espoo, Finland. They observed lessons and general functioning of this multicultural school. Their visit resulted in deeper understanding of the Finnish system and presentation of good practices and differences to the school teachers' board.

Job shadowing in Italy - Pescara, April 2026

Eliza, our supporting teacher and psychologist, spent one week in April 2026 in IC9 Pescara, where she observed the work in the field of inclusion and work with SEN students, and also presented our school and Polish culture to Italian children. This resulted in expanding cooperation of schools, because after coming back she started her own project of cooperation in which she involved 20 younger students. Practicing Italian and English is an additional advantage.

Prevention of bullying and peer violence - a course in Split, Croatia - July 2025

Two of our teachers, an English teacher and early education teacher / after school carer took part in a course concentrating on class dynamics and conflict resolution as well as prevention of bullying in peer groups. They learned methods of social relationships diagnosis, conflict resolution and mediation. They presented acquired knowledge in teachers' board meeting at our school just before the start of the school year. This resulted in organizing trainings and year pedagogical programme for the whole school for the year 2025-2026. Teachers were succesively trained and classes had working sessions, because "prevention of violence and cyberviolence at school" was the main theme of the year.

Erasmus Plus visitors from Citta di Castello - October 2024 and April 2025

Two groups of Italian students accompanied by 4 teachers visited our school for a week in October 2024 and in April 2025 to learn Polish culture and lifestyle, and immerse in Polish educational system. They took part in cultural workshops, guided walks with students, scientific experiments, and also parties (like the Carnival Fancy Dress Party). They were hosted at homes with Polish families and made friends with them. This resulted in planning another mobility of Polish group to Citta di Castello the following year.

Artistic expression of thoughts - poetry, music, architecture, craft (Pescara March 2025)

The students' mobility in Pescara was focused on artistic expression of culture, and of intellectual processes. It resulted in improvement in sensitivity, acquiring knowledge of Italian art through ages, learning about the folk culture of the people of Abrusso, and learning some unusual ways of cultural expression (such as writing and reading poetry). This resulted in teachers' collaboration on further projects (eTwinning, job shadowing, and another mobility of students).

How to teach democracy and about the European Union - a course in Dublin - July 2025

Our history and Civic Studies teacher went to Dublin for a week to study methodology of teaching these subjects in the context of the European Union. He also trained his linguistic skills. This resulted in planning a project of European Citizenship which he conducted together with the German teacher in cooperation with an Austrian partner school in the year 2025-2026.

Inner Peace for Educators: Aikido, Tai Chi, and Reflective Practices - a training in Valencia, Spain - April 2026

Two teachers - an early stage form teacher who is also our afternoon carer and a school pedagogue went to Valencia in Spain for one week in April 2026 to do a practical course of various methods to improve one's wellbeing and reduce stress. They practiced TaiChi, Yoga and other ways and learned how to teach these methods to teachers and students. They implemented the techniques in their everyday work but also instruct other teachers on the principles of healthy lifestyle.

Our Experts pay a visit to Havirov school - November 2024

Our experts in language teaching, Michał - an English teacher and Ewa - a German teacher were invited to organize training and workshops in a Czech school in Havirov in November 2024. They loved the school and their partners Gabriela and Andrea and Dagmar, who took care of them and organized the training.

Project Bandiera della Pace - the longest peace flag in the world by Moira Lena Tassi (March 2025 - June 2025)

Thanks to cooperation with an Umbrian school in Citta di Castello, and to their visit in our school in March, our students could take part in an international artistic project, which was designed by an Italian artist Moira Lena Tassi and resulted in creation of the longest peace flag in the world. We contributed numerous pieces of the flag and the flag travelled from Citta di Castello to different countries. It is more than 800m long.
