katnis was just trying to live with her family normally at the beginning. She was with her family living worry free at first. She had a sister and a mom and her father died at ayoung age, but other than that she lived happily with no knowledge about the hunger games. She was not planning on going into it at all. She had no excitement or no plans to go.

Call to Adventure

When her sister got picked she stood up to go for her. Katnis´ little sister got picked to go into the games, immediately katnis stood up in protective mode for her sister. she did not want her sister to go into the games. She went in for her.

refuse the call

In the Hunger Games, Katniss does not refuse the call. Although she is hesitant, she deals through it in order to protect her little sister, Prim. When katnis gets in the train Katnis feels anxious and angry as she realizes she will never be free of the Capitol's control. She gets really upset and comes to a realization of the whole situation.

Meeting the Mentor

Katniss meets Haymitch Abernathy, a previous Hunger Games victor from her District. Katniss knows that her knife demonstration is her chance to make an impression on Haymitch. Haymitch makes a deal with Peeta and Katniss. He says that he'll remain sober enough to help them as long as they don't interfere with his drinking.

Crossing the Threshold

When they she accepts she has to go when she meets the guy designs her outfits and also when she's put on the train to the capital, leaving her Ordinary World behind. The Tests, Enemies, and Allies section starts when she has to navigate the preparation for the Games. She meets Rue and has Peeta as an ally, as well. The Careers are clearly enemies to contend with later.

Allies, Trials, and Enemies

When she gets on the train she meets the mentor and her partner peta. She also makes friends in the hunger games that she loses but gained strong relationships. Her enemie was the main antagonist, is Cato.

Approach to the Inmost Cave

Katnis practices and prepares herself physically and mental for the games. Katniss gets prepared for the games and learns how to use a bow and arrow and she has good survival instincts. Even before the Hunger Games, Katniss was is tough mentally . She is probably one of the only people from her district who had a chance of winning.

The Supreme Ordeal

Katnis had to gain the support and love from the sponsers so she can gain the support in the hunger games . Katniss aside still had skill and is is used to aiming at smaller moving targets and knows how to predict their movement through practice. She's also learned over the years how to kill effectively - a skill careers don't really have before the games.

katnis and peta won Because of this, they receive income from the Capitol for life, are given a special status in their districts and are allowed to live in the wealthiest part of their district called the Victors' Village with their families.

The Road Back

Life after the hunger games was still with her. she eventually married Peeta and they had two children. She tried to put her past behind her but Katniss was still plagued by nightmares well into her adult life. She feared for the day when her children learned of the Hunger Games and Katniss' involvement in the war.

Resurrection

When she almost dies in the middle of the hunger games. Katniss is almost killed by the bloodbath when Clove aims a knife at her head. She blocks it with her backpack and earns a knife as a result.

Return with Prize

After she finishes the games she got to return to her family. Katniss reveals her love for her family and how she feels responsible for providing for them as well as protecting them. When she got home she provided and they never had to hunt for food. She was proud of herself and family for believing in her.
