He had gotten Messenger, and he wanted Pipeworks Laborer as his second choice. She did trade with him and was glad she didn't want to work underground. But she got distracted because she had found many selection of color pencils, and had forgotten about Poppy. She was worried and looked for her, but the lights went out for over 5 minutes. When the lights came back on, she had found Poppy in Doon's dad's store. After Lina was done with her work, Lina was walking with Lizzie, an old friend. But there was something off about Lizzie, she claimed she had went to the grocery store though she actually left the storeroom office. After Lizzie had tripped, there was food that hadn't been seen in ages that came out of Lizzie's grocery bag. Lizzie had actually got that from Looper, who ran the store where Lina found color pencils, and Looper had got all of that stuff from the mayor. The mayor was hoarding a lot of necessities such as lightbulbs, clothes, and food. They did find the end of the tunnel and Poppy found a notebook beforehand.
