Strengths of Intervention- May improve interpersonal relationships, reduce risk of relapse and/or hospital admissions. May reduce the risk of stigmatisation and discrimination from family members towards the individual suffering from diagnosis. Improve the ability for both parties to understand and identify with the diagnosis. 
Weaknesses- Difficult to analyse what exactly needs to be covered within the intervention sessions. It is expensive as it would need medical professionals to trial it, facilitate it and create resources for it. 
Opportunities- On a longitudinal basis it may become cost effective as it would reduce hospital admissions, it would relive pressures on family therapists and social workers as it promotes collaboration during the early stages of recovery, due to the psycho education being an early intervention.
