GeoGuesser is a great gamification of history and S.S. concepts. Students are able to travel to different places and complete the stories/levels there.

An application of this would be if we were learning about European culture, I would have students choose a city in Europe to visit and complete the module on it. Students would then share their findings with others. This allows for student choice and gamification meeting the standards.
